A new Aroma In My Custody !!!

Just received a call yesterday about the delivery of a new aroma.

This new aroma came from a friend in Perak and I hope it will help to improve the success rate to those who are keen in trying.

I shall collect it today and fill up the decription about its color, smell, bottling size and so forth.

I plan to repack it and send to those who have ordered and have not received the item.

I can't wait to get my hands on it.

This is the "Jenggo".

To See Better Result Choose The Right Day For Application !!!

I was on the way back home to Sungai Patani and stop at Taiping Toll area to deliver two containers of the aromas ordered by Mr.R.

I highlighted to him on how to apply the aromas and I remembered seeing him recording what I told him.

Mr.R beside proper application your next important consideration is the weather. If you want better result, you need to apply on a day when the weather is cool. Perhaps on a rainy day when then temperature is cooler and more birds will be on your rooftop.

My sincere advise to him is to apply the aroma on a weekly basis.

If he can try to use about 750 ml per floor.

Choose the boxes that he wanted to apply and make sure he place those brown paper to collect any signs of birds responding to the application.

If You Have Found The Right Aroma For Your BH !!!

Once you have identified the right aroma that suit your BH you can prepare a plan to apply them on a larger quantity and more frequent.

Remember, you need to find the right aroma. Yes do the tests and check the number of bird shit spots on the brown paper placed underneath the ceiling box that you have applied.

If you can carefully plan for the next steps you will see the following thing that will happen:

1) The aroma will bring in more birds into your BH. They have to come from someone BHs. Normally they are from your nearest neighbors.

2) If you know how to scrutinize the aroma application, you can in fact maneuver where these birds should make their nests. You can choose which floor they should breed and which ceiling box they should occupy.

3) You can draw them to those rooms or floors that they never want to enter. What you do is to apply more in those rooms or floors that they have be refusing to enter and lesser to those that are already their favorite.

4) What happen if you apply the aroma to those nests that are without any eggs yet? Have a try and see what will happen. Select the nests carefully and spray them with the selected aroma. My guess is that the nest size will grow bigger within a few short weeks.

5) What if you spray on the birds? Well I got this information from a guy who was using the aroma in his BH. One day he accidental sprayed the aroma onto a couple and he thought they will die. Nope nothing happened and they seem to be there permanently. The only thing that might happened is that when they fly about the roof top they will attract more birds into your BH. This is due to the smell that they carried.

How Much Aroma To Apply !!!!

If you have identified the right aroma suitable for your BH, subject to location of your BH, how much should you apply?

A very interesting question and you need to be dead sure that the answer must be right.

To me use as much as you can effort. Three liters per floor is the minimum.

Remember you must make sure that you have identified the right aroma. Yes the one that gives you the most number of bird shit on those brown paper that you placed below the tested boxes.

Once the right aroma is in your hand and you have proven that they do bring in lots of birds into your BH, you should go on a bigger scale.

Increase the dosage from just 500 ml to at least 3,000 ml (3 liters per floor) in stages.

Try to go on a 1liter after the 500 ml test. Move to 1.5 liter and finally apply the 3 liters per floor (for a 20' x 70' size).

While you increase the dosages you must examine the progress carefully.

Never apply to all the boxes on the ceiling in one go. Choose the locations where you want those birds to built their nests. Let them spread in stages.

You might want to start with those ceiling box at the lowest floor of your BH and move to the next box on the opposite corner of the ceiling areas.

Maybe you can alternate the floors. Every application you can move you selection from one floor to the other and see how they populate the house where you want them to be.

Perhaps you could sit down with a piece of paper and plan how you want your BH to be populated ......

Note: I personally will use more if those birds simply love the aromas that I have choosen.

For Testing Where Should You Select The Ceiling Box ???

I have never mentioned any where about where is the best location for the nesting box to be selected.

Well if your BH is pretty new and there are not many birds entering, I suggest you selected the testing box slightly closed to the entrance hole.

For a BH which are already with a sizable number of birds, it can be anywhere especially in the room where the population is the least.

The logic are as follows:

For any new BH the house still have those strong smell of the cement. The birds need longer time to familiarise with the house. They takes time to move from the entrance areas into the roving then from roving to the nesting and to the back.

If you can choose a box in the middle of the BH and at one corner. The distance from the door at the roving areas must be about 5-10 meters away.

Try not to locate one that is too far at the back of the house. This will be less effective since the birds need to get use to the new BH.

For a BH with lots of tenants you may want to choose a box in one of the rooms that are not heavily populated. I mean the worst among all the rooms in the BH.

Main reason being if they like the aroma these birds that have yet to built their nests will be flocking into this room. Of course other new birds, if they are attracted to the aroma, will be staying in the room too.

When there is a sudden surge of bird shits found on the floor, after aroma application, you can easily determine the effectiveness of the aroma.

So try to follow the above advise and it will be interesting if they hang on the walls too.....

7 Different Types of Aromas So Far !!!

Up till today, I managed to put together a total of 7 different types of aromas in my vault.

This would mean that those who participate in my research will be able to use all the seven in stages.

The seven are as follows:

1) Passionate

2) Brown Honey

3) Supreme X

4) Jenggo

5) Amazing liquid

6) Haven Send

7) Ng Special.

My sincere recommendation is to take 3 or 4 samples per delivery. Test them as per guidelines given and if all the 3-4 samples received still gives very little result then it is advisable to get the balance 3-4 samples.

The idea is to test as many as you can, very affordable, and get the best aroma that suits your area where the BH is located.

Remember, aromas can be similar to those external sounds. Some are effective in S Patani, Kedah but nothing happened in Kota Bahru, Kelantan.

Aroma have the same behaviour. The only way to find the right one is to try a few that you can get hold of them.

Try them as per my idea and choose the best which gives the optimum number of bird shits on the brown paper below the box applied.

To be more successful make sure the external and internal sounds you played will bring the birds in. You will be wasting your money and time testing the aroma while the sounds you are playing cannot even bring a single birds above your roof top. Or worst when the external sound is off at 8.00pm all the birds rush out because of the irritating internal sound.

One more thing to be careful is to apply the aroma is to choose the right time of the week. I would recommend a cool day after a good shower. Try not to test on a very hot day.

You can get better results if you use your common senses.

Have a good week and I pray that you will one day find the right aroma for your BH.......

Selection Criterias Of Test Areas !!!

A few readers indicated to me that when they first used the aroma, obtained from attending a course, their permanent tenants (birds) refuse to enter the house.

"Harry what do you think happened? How to avoid this from happening?"

If you enter any successful BHs you need to carefully observe the roving area walls. Most of these walls are heavily bombarded with shits. These are territorial markings. The birds used these as their markings.

When you apply the wrong aroma, foreign products, these birds do felt threaten. It is as if there is something unusual who visited the BH. The first scared feeling is that there was a predators in the house. Should I enter the house or not?

However if you apply the right aroma, these birds felt very excited and wanted to be closed to those areas that gives the strongest smell. The right aroma will gives that peaceful and distress feeling. Some might even turns the bird horny and wanted to start mating.

So be careful when you choose or apply those aromas.

The best recommendation is to use any new found aromas in small quantity for the first application, say 200 ml to 500 ml.

You need to perhaps choose the room or floor that are not heavily populated. It is also recommended to choose a specific nesting box that is empty with not a single signs of nest or marking on the wood as the trial area.

You plan your trial application in small volume and never apply to the whole house. In this was you limit the disaster, if it happened, inside the selected room or floor that is not doing well. Never to apply the whole 5 liters bottle in one go.

You also need to remember that these aroma smell will last most probably for about a few days.

If you find that the applied aroma brings good result then you can embark your bigger plans to increase the application of the aroma.

Remember don't be greedy. Get a proper plan and increase the dosage bit by bit. Start with 200 ml then increase to 1 liter and then move up.

If you can find the right aroma, I think you are hitting the jackpot to that million dollars dream.

Best of luck and never gives up.

Black Cloud In Combination with The "Oh My God" Aroma !!!

I think I should change the name Passionate to "Oh My God".

Main reason being, after proper application and combined with my Black cloud, the results are as seen in this two video clips. Fanstastic, unbelievable and "oh my god".

Before you click the play button please absorb the following points:

Backgound:

I was given the opportunity to test one of my aroma in a BH owned by one of my blog reader. The row of shop was in Muar, Johore and the row consisted of four shops only. Out of the four three of the unit were converted into BHs. One unit was empty ie unit number one. The owner of the second shop allowed me to conduct the aroma test. His BH was with about 400 nests. The other neighbors seem to be successful too with about 3 kilos of harvest per month, on the average, accoding to my participant.

I estimated that the total number of birds occupying the three BHs of about 5,000 birds.

The subjected BH which I applied the "Oh My God" aroma plus playing my BC sound was the unit number two.

The first clip was taken from the right hand sides from the back of the 4 shop lots while the second clip was taken from the other side of the row.

You will be amazed and I am sure if you were there you will use the word: "Oh My God".

All the birds were jumping into the tested unit.

Can you imagine if 80% of those birds move into the treated BH what will happen to those two BHs next door? I told the owner if he follows proper routine in applying those aromas all the 5,000 might be moving camp. It is possible but we need to do more tests to be sured.

Enjoy the view and if you wanted to be one of my research participant please call 017 755 1318.

I stayed back from 6.30pm until darkness and I have to admit that more then 80% of the birds were jumping into the tested BH.

This was one of the many tests I wish to conduct but I believed in testing in more places before making any conclusion.

Those who wanted to help in this research project please call me at 017 755 1318.

There is a small fee to cover the cost of the aromas and the application guidelines plus freight.

You will receive a total of 5 bottles of different aromas, each about 500 ml, a guideline to use and brown papers to catch the birdshits. Each bottle will be marked with sample A,B,C.D,E. The accompanied Brown Papers will be also marked accordingly.

The one that gave you the highest number of bird shits on the floor below the areas you applied, caught on the given brown papers, will be the best for your BH.

Remember there is nothing to loose from participating into this genius idea. I can assure you that you will benefit a lot from this project.

At the same time you are helping me to formulate and find the best aroma(s) for the industry.

I might not be an Angel or Prophet in this line but I do share a lot of my findings will all who read my blogs and forum groups.

Remember you have be reading free of charge on all my previous findings and now is the time have come and contribute something to this project, for a good cause.

My Test Using "Passionate" In Muar BH. !!!

This is something that I find very interesting and I hope will excite everyone.

I was invited to visit a BH in Muar under renovation. This particular BH have above 400 nests.

The owner arranged for mu visit a few weeks ago and after the visit I gave him a list of things to do if he wanted to improve the number of nests.

Among the many things was the application of a selected aroma.

Today after doing the nests harvesting, the owner installed a new sets of nesting planks to increase the nesting areas plus cover all those corners.

I took the trouble to deliver to him my aroma sample for trial. I told him to use the "Passionate".

"Okay Harry please do what you think best for the house."

I quickly prepared the aroma and select the room which was not doing very well plus there are many of those empty nesting boxes.

I climb those aluminium ladder and squirt the aroma on the corners and on the plank. After doing that I ask one of the helper to mix the remaining aroma with some water and spray on the room's wall. Told him where to spray and he did exactly what I insisted.

After finishing the half bottle (750 ML) I inspect the sound volume and the sound being played.

Left the BH to meet a new blog reader at his house for 2 hours.

At about 6.30pm I quickly drove to the BH to observe how those birds will react.

My my my ......

It was something which I never expected.

Remember in the same row there were two more BH with 3 kg a month.

What I saw was something amazing. Nearly 80% of those birds roving above the rooftop will jump into the affected BH. The other two next door shared only 20%.

Unbelievable and I am not sure the reason why.

It is possible that they like the aroma very much or they are afraid to enter and keep circling above the roof top?

The only way to know the answer is to wait for 2 more weeks before the owner enter the BH for his bi monthly inspection.

I am very hopeful that the result will be unusual.......

A Genious Way Of Indifying The Right Aroma For Your BH !!!

I wrote an article about which one I will choose between a good BH aroma and a good sound.

Read this: http://swiftletfarming.blogspot.com/2009/05/between-those-external-sound-and-aroma.html

My answer is the aroma. Remember A Good Aroma and not any aromas.

But many called to ask where and how to find the right aroma?

Well you can get them from many sources. Usually I will get from those Swiftlet Equipment suppliers and sometime from some personal contacts.

How do you determine that the particular aroma is suitable for those birds in your area?

My suggestion is simple. Do a series of tests using about 500 milliliter each.

Today one of my blog reader called to confirm his interest to locate the right aroma for his BH in Kuantan.

Immediately after he called and remitted a minimum cost, I post lajued two aromas (500 ml each) , for him to conduct his own test.

This was what I told him to do:

Conduct the aroma test test one by one. The best time to apply is about 3 hours before those birds started they journey home say about 2.oo pm.

Take sample A and split the 500ml into two portions (200 ml and 300 ml).

Pour the 200 ml sample into a water spray gun. Do not mix the aroma with any water.

Choose at least one of the nesting box for the experiment. Move a suitable ladder below the box and spray (make sure the spray shape is a bit spray mist but more of the pissing) the four corners of the box. If you have those corner cover at the four corners squirt the aroma at those joints between the two planks.

Once that were done squirt spray about one foot in between the two corners. Spray on the opposite planks too.

You should also spray the ceiling/roof located in the selected box. Before doing that make sure you adjust the nozzle to be a bit misty then the earlier setting.

After finishing the 200 ml, pour the balance 300 ml into the same spray bottle. Add about 200 ml of water into the bottle.

Now you need to start the spraying on the walls just below the selected box you sprayed with the concentrated 200 ml of the same aroma. Spray about one foot below the nesting plank.

Make sure you cover all the areas below the selected box and may be a bit wider.

Once that is done, you need to move to the entrance area. What you need to do now is to determine where will be the best spots to spray those diluted aroma from the entrance hole and move towards the selected nesting box.

Just imagine if you want to drag the birds from the entrance area towards the selected nesting box how would you want the aroma be sprayed. So choose the spots properly and move toward the inside.

Once that is done the balance should be poured into the humidifier water containers. Spread them evenly.

Wait you have not finish.

If you want to determined whether this sample works you need to detect the shit left by those wild birds. How would you do that?

Simple, stop by at the stationary or book shop and buy those brown papers which you normally used to wrap those big boxed. You should do this while you are on the way to your BH.

Open this brown paper (about 4 feet X 6 feet) and laid it down below the selected box. Mark the paper to correspond with the sample you are testing. If the sample is A, write sample A on the paper.

Check the everything that you usually do and after that lock your BH and let it operate for two weeks.

After two weeks you can come back to check the shits left by those birds. If they like the smell they should have entered and stayed on the sprayed nesting planks. The number of bird shits on the brown paper tell you something.

After this test you need to do the same for the second sample and the rest. Use a fresh brown paper after each test and please mark the brown paper properly.

After finishing the test (minimum 3 samples) you will be able to determine which aroma is suitable for those species populating your BH. Count the exact number of the bird shit spots on the brown paper and the higher number shall be the winner.

What happen if all the three samples do not gives any result?

Well find another three and do the same test. You need to try as many as you can.

If you have found that right aroma, you can now embark on the next step of full scale aroma application ......

If you think that this marvellous idea is brilliant and you wanted to try just give a call to Harry 017 755 1318.

I am not selfish with ideas and you are lucky to have read this article. Trust me .......
